sunday, january 6th: the feast of the epiphany. at 9:00 a.m. in shepherd's hall..                  we are a parish in the episcopal diocese of north carolina nestled in  the heart of downtown raleigh just one. ​we are a community of christians walking together in our journey to learn from and follow jesus. we are diverse in thought and personal beliefs, but united in our love of christ.                                             all are welcome here.                       no matter where you are in your personal journey of faith, we invite you to come walk. we know parking can be tricky in the bustling downtown of a vibrant capital city. read on for the inside scoop on parking at good.  our dedicated surface lot is very space-limited and typically is reserved for those among us with mobility issues. however, diagonally across the street from that lot on the corner of morgan and mcdowell streets is the municipal building's parking garage which is open to the public. the best part is that it's free on sundays! in addition, we're surrounded by plenty of on-street parking that also is free on but what if i want to visit during the week? you may be asking. for short visits, and space permitting, you may park in the circular drive in front of our parish life center or in the small surface lot we mentioned above. the city's parking garage also remains an option. episcopalians are christians.                      ​we love jesus, and strive each day to be more like him. we read the bible. we celebrate the eucharist and share it with anyone baptized as a christian (regardless of denomination), and we invite those who aren't baptized to pray, sing, and do god’s work with us. at our baptism, we make a covenant with god and one another to strive for justice and peace and seek christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves and upholding the dignity of every human being. that means everybody. no exceptions.
