I hope everyone id doing fine during all this dry weather we have been having. We sure do need some rain and some warm weather so we can get some garden planted. Looks like everything is going to be late this year. I attended the 101 Ranch collectors show this past April and it was a great event. We signed up several new members to our organization so that was another good thing. There were a lot of exhibitors and a nice amount of people coming to participate in the show. Good work I hope to see a lot of you at the upcoming Wine Tasting event and also our Annual Reunion which will be held on June 9 this year. It will be held at the Marland Community Center again this year. Come and visit with us and enjoy some good old time Dutch oven cooking done by Gary Here it is again time for another 101 Ranch Old Timers newsletter and as usual I am unprepared. It has been a very busy winter this year and as usual I am a little behind. Oh well, blame it on old age. The 101 Ranch Collectors show was held on April 13 and 14 and the show brought in a lot of visitors. Everything went well and plans are already being made to have next years show in this area. Finding a building large enough is a problem. I'll keep you posted. Also, the Old Timers are preparing for their annual Wine Tasting party which will be held on June 1, 2018 and promises to be an enjoyable And, the Wine Tasting Party will be the start of several events to be held during the following week. The 101 Ranch Rodeo will be held the following Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Also, the 101 Ranch Old Timers will hold their annual reunion on Saturday June 9th in Marland, Oklahoma. A number of descendants of the Millers and Carson's are planning on attending so it should be an interesting reunion. 101 Ranch member Gary Smith will be providing his Dutch oven meal again this year so come and have an enjoyable day. Then on Sunday, June 10th there will be a horse shoe throwing event at the Ranch site. Come and enjoy all the fun.
